After refreshing this season with a few colorful, pastel-accented staples, CDG PLAY and
Converse on Sale are dialing things back for an achromatic, graphic-heavy approach. Both the Chuck Taylor All Star Low and High are at the ready for release and they’re set to debut first by way of Dover Street Market Ginza.
Converse has linked up with the Looney Tunes once again to release two new colorways of the
Buy Converse Chuck 70. First we have the High which depicts the rivalry between Sylvester and Tweety. The shoe comes with a white canvas upper and graphics of Sylvester and Tweety on the side panels. Next we have a Low pair which comes in a grey canvas upper with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck artwork placed on the shoe. Both pairs are finished off with Looney Tunes branding on the tongue, white midsoles, and white rubber toes.
The Kith x Coca-Cola x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 is crafted from vintage white denim and features asymmetrical puffed embroidery that reads Coca-Cola across both shoes.
Best Price Converse The medial side also features a bottlecap-shaped leather Velcro patch that when removed exposes concealed Converse branding. The uppers sit atop vulcanized rubber midsoles, which display Kith branding near the forefoot. The outsole is translucent green, inspired by the green glass used for original Coke bottles
Tyler’s signature flower logo arrives on the shoe’s side in navy accompanied by white stitching and laces for contrast, and further navy Golf flower branding appears on the tongue.
Converse for Men and Women A white midsole rounds off the shoe’s aesthetic, and although there are no images of the outsole yet, it’s very likely that they feature a printed flower pattern similar to past Golf Le Fleur Converse releases.
West coast streetwear giants Undefeated did a whole lot of collaborative work with Puma in 2011, and for their first teamup of the new year, the Five Strikes brand got up with the
Converse All Star Shoes on a Far East-based design that’s just as simple yet satisfying as all those ’11 Clydes. The UNDFTD x Converse All Star Hi ‘All Good TYO’ takes a simple grey canvas approach to portraying modern Tokyo, but unlike the city’s pinball machine of neon lighting, these joints hide their flashy appeal with a reflective upper construction. Purple laces find their match on a sockliner that features an Edo kimono print depciting an old Tokyo map for a shoe that finishes as a case study on how to perfectly execute a unique inspiration without turning the shoe into some kind of cooky mess.
